The project included two new subdivision roads and extensive site grading. Client Background
Patriot Excavating, based in Acton, Massachusetts, specializes in residential road and lot development projects. After being awarded the sitework contract for Wendell Place, the team engaged 3D SEA LLC to create accurate CAD and GPS construction files to streamline layout and maximize field efficiency.
Challenge
The site’s grading design was large and complex, requiring detailed review to ensure smooth transitions, proper drainage, and ADA compliance across the subdivision’s roadways and lots. The existing CAD files needed cleanup and alignment with the most current approved design plans before being used for GPS layout.
